Curriculum
for the Health Professional |
| |
The
Contra Costa e-Mentoring program is unique in that each contact between the Health
Care professional and the high school Health Academy student has a specific purpose
defined by the classroom curriculum over the 6-week period (April 6 through May
15). An end-of pilot program evaluation will also be included after the program
concludes. Mentors have an option to participate in end-of-year school awards
& celebration events, usually held in May, to meet students face-to-face and to
review student work as well. Participating as a Health Care professional
e-Mentor takes no more than 30 minutes weekly for six weeks commencing April 6
and concluding no later than May 15. The curriculum includes: |
