One of the critical elements in the economic vitality of a region is the ease with which businesses can obtain the permits necessary to start and grow their businesses. A high priority goal of the Contra Costa Economic Partnership is to work with the public and private sectors to streamline the business permitting process and make it more customer-friendly. To that end, the Contra Costa Economic Partnership has conducted a review of countywide business permitting practices, and has published the report SMART PERMITTING/Contra Costa.
